INDIANAPOLIS�Amazon is making it easier to find local FM radio stations with the NextRadio app. For the 25 million+ customers with compatible smartphones, NextRadio is now available for download on the Amazon App Store.
NextRadio�is a free smartphone app which utilizes the activated FM receivers in smartphones allowing the user to see and hear radio. It�s now available on 40 smartphones, and one tablet, from Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile. Additionally, NextRadio is on HTC and Motorola�s Moto G and E phones with all major wireless carriers.�

TagStation, LLC has developed the TagStationservice to provide radio stations with artist and title information and unique interactivity with listeners; with partial funding from NAB Labs, TagStation also developed theNextRadio�hybrid radio smartphone app. The app uses TagStation�cloud services to provide a rich FM radio listening experience on smartphones and tablets by combining the devices� built-in FM tuner and the Internet. �
