AEQ Opera for Cape Verde

AEQ Opera Cape Verde Regional Radio

Radio Regional de Cabo Verde — Cape Verde Regional Radio — has opted to install a modular Opera audio mixer from AEQ in three of its new analog radio studios.

According to the Spanish firm, the console, which is the successor of the AEQ BC5000 console, and is particularly appropriate for medium-to-large radio stations, features easy control, advanced technology and reliable 24-hour, seven-day-a-week operation.

For the Cape Verde broadcaster AEQ configured the Opera with four independent mic inputs (mic/line switch included), six dual A/B stereo line level audio inputs, two built-in digital telephone hybrids and one main master output with one additional recording aux output.

The Opera’s modularity, says AES, allows users to easily configure the system to fit the needs and size of any radio station.
