Nova Standardizes On-Air Playout with RCS

Australian broadcaster Nova Entertainment announced that it has successfully completed the roll-out of its new RCS on-air playout, automation and content management system.

The RCS Zetta digital playout software is now installed in all on-air and production studios and is handling all content broadcast across the group.

“This is cutting edge technology, allowing all of our brands to surpass the competitors in the market. RCS has worked hand in glove to understand our needs across all our brands and Zetta certainly delivers!” said Nova Entertainment’s Group Program Director, Paul Jackson.

Zetta plays out all on air programs and distributes music, commercials and all other audio assets around the country to every Nova and Smoothfm radio station, their digital radio brands and the multichannel Coles Radio from a single point of ingestion.

As part of the roll-out, the RCS GSelector4 music scheduler was also installed company-wide. The solution allows content directors to schedule music for any broadcast channel from anywhere across the group.
