TuneIn Signs 20

Internet audio stream portal TuneIn has announced a major programming deal, signing on 20 content providers.

Leading the way of signatories was C-SPAN Radio and Public Radio International.

Individual groups and stations added include Hearst Corp. radio station like Baltimore’s WBAL(AM), Nashville’s WSM(AM), WMVY(FM), WFMU(FM), St. Louis’ KDHX(FM) and KXT(FM) in north Texas.

On the international front, TuneIn signed the Australian Broadcast Corp. along with broadcasters and Internet-only stations from Israel, the Caribbean and Norway. Internet-only specialists now available include stations devoted to the music group Wu-Tang Clan, technology, southern Florida and invention pitching.
