XM Is a Reality in Cadillacs

General Motors has begun making Cadillacs with XM Satellite Radio built-in. The company is the first factory-installed carmaker to bring the XM technology to market.
Company officials said Cadillac delivered XM to the public in less than 18 months, making it one of the fastest technology rollouts in GM history.
Cadillac is offering XM as an option on its 2002 DeVilles and Sevilles; GM will expand availability to another 20 or so models in 2003.
The service price for 100 channels of XM Radio is $9.99 per month, which customers who lease or finance through GMAC can roll into their monthly car payments.
