Shively is showing the new Versa2une field-tunable, low power, circular polarized FM antenna at IBC2014.
The system features a maximum input power of 5 kW with 2.5 kW into a signal bay and a VSWR of <1.2:1.
According to the company, it is possible to tune the antenna quickly to one’s frequency and change to a different frequency at later date without any technical knowledge or equipment.
Simple to install, the Versa2une is lightweight and packs into a small box for easy shipping, says Shively, adding that it’s suitable for low-power sites, boosters, translators or even as a standby antenna to have in case of emergency.
