NextKast has released an update to its OnAir automation system.
The company said version 7.0 integrates its music scheduler, traffic management, FTP and NextAI platforms into an all-in-one package with its automation.

Winston Potgieter, NextKast’s founder and project manager, said the update is intended to eliminate the challenges stations face when synchronizing multiple platforms, such as music schedulers.
In addition, OnAir’s update includes an overhauled user interface, according to NextKast. The company said it also has improved NextSync integration, which resulted from a beta test.
The update also adds a feature that displays the last modified date of a selected track when adding it in the program’s music screen.
